1. Why clothing itself
cannot produce any calorific capacity once we put on our clothes and feel
warm, it is because the cold air wrapped by our clothes becomes hot air by
our body heat. Therefore, the more clothes we wear, the thicker air layer
the clothes can catch, and the warmer we feel.
2. Wind also affects temperature
very much! Under the same temperature, if wind blows it makes temperature
rapidly drop, and the difference can sometimes be over 10 degrees! Such change
caused by the speed of wind blowing is called the "Wind-Chill
Effect".
3. The range of human
beings' body temperature is very small -
normally 37℃+ 2℃(below 35℃, loses temperature; over 39℃, high fever happens).
Therefore, when you feel cold but putting on more clothes won't help, do some
exercise that will help to raise your body temperature.
4. Air is the best insulator.
You can only feel comfortable when the air adequately circulates!
5. The major use of an underwear is to keep the skin surface fresh and cool, therefore, the most important function is the sweat diffusion - being able to rapidly diffuse the moisture and sweat to the surface of the inner clothes to keep the sweat from directly evaporating from the skin surface causing the temperature of the skin surface lowering down due to the evaporation absorbs caloric capacity. In addition, with good ventilation, you'll never feel sultry.
